Strauss’ event management team is fortunate to have Michelle in its ranks. Bursting with creative ideas, logical solutions, and congenial energy, Michelle is a high-achieving, resourceful organizer. She thrives in turning ideas into action and feels that she only succeeds when all parties succeed. It is important to Michelle that clients and guests have exceptional experiences while working towards the goals that staff and volunteer teams aim to achieve.

Prior to joining Strauss, Michelle exercised her sponsorship and donor relationship muscles at the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. Before this, IG Wealth Management provided her with many leadership and operational tools while she worked with some of the best in the event business in Manitoba. Michelle recognized her passion for event planning while working at the Canadian Conference of Manitoba Churches.Ho

Now that Michelle is with Strauss, she is excited to help clients develop goals for their events and turn their ideas and hopes into reality. A broad range of experience along with a great deal of passion gives Michelle the ability to step up to any challenge and deliver excellence.

Michelle’s favourite quote is from Mr. Rogers: “There are three ways to ultimate success: the first way is to be kind. The second way is to be kind. The third way is to be kind.”

After a long day of work, Michelle loves gardening, travelling, going on walks, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. Her favourite vacation was a family trip to Europe with all her adult children. Michelle remembers visiting her family in her birth city of Oxford, reconnecting with cousins, aunts, and uncles. On the same trip, she and her family also visited London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Rome!
