Karina began her career in Event Management in 2015 after graduating from the University of Winnipeg with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing major & Psychology minor. Her first role was with the United Way of Winnipeg where she held various positions including an Administrative Assistant, Campaign Coordinator, Events & Marketing Coordinator. During her tenure with the United Way of Winnipeg, she successfully worked on large scale fundraising events including the United Way Plan Pull, United Way Celebration Dinner, Conscious Day of Kindness, and the GenNext Leadership Summit.

She later took on an Events & Programming role at the University of Manitoba Business School Foundation where she helped to organize and manage a 1500-person “IDEA Gala Dinner” in honour of Hartley Richardson to raise funds for the Asper School of Business.

She also served as an Events & Volunteer Coordinator at Food & Beverage Manitoba and worked on several large-scale events. One of her proudest accomplishments was the undertaking of the first ever “Cultivate: Sustainability Conference & Trade Show” offered to the members of the Food & Beverage MB in September of 2022.

Karina’s passion for event management also stems from her passion for volunteerism, community work, and fundraising. She brings this passion and her expertise to become a valuable extension to our client’s teams and to ensure excellence in our signature events for clients. She provides a fresh and innovative perspective to each event she is involved in.

Over the years, Karina has proudly volunteered on event committees for the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter, the Dream Factory, and Willow Place. Currently she is a Founding Director and Events Chair for the Regenesis Centre for Recovery and is the lead on their annual fundraising musical festival, “Jams for Regenesis.” In her spare time, she can be found cooking delicious vegetarian dinners, supporting local restaurants and lounges, supporting local musicians, and exploring Manitoba’s scenic hiking trails in the Whiteshell, Riding Mountain National Pari, and Sprucewoods Provincial Park.
