War-Affected Children

The Challenge:

To focus international attention on the issue of war-affected children through a dynamic and powerful conference. This event posed the unique challenge of being held in several separate venues with delegates arriving and departing at various times throughout the week on schedules that would change frequently.

Our Solution:

Strauss worked as part of the operations team at the Conference Secretariat for the event which drew over 800 delegates from 130 countries including many foreign ministers, senior government officials and other VIP’s. We provided full event management services to the conference including:

Transportation logistics including vehicles, drivers and dispatch, delegate arrival and departure services and travel assistance;
Personnel staffing services;
Volunteer coordination;
Provision of delegate bags;
Emergency preparedness planning and management and more.
