- Annual Symposium

The Challenge:

To stage the annual national symposium for the Pedorthic Association of Canada, providing education, information and networking opportunities for its members, delegates and exhibitors from across the United States, Europe and Canada.

Our Solution:,

Strauss works with the association on an ongoing basis to plan and execute the annual event as well as providing management services for the association itself.

Including 28 exhibitors, 20 speaker sessions and a variety of social programs for the 160 attendees, The Business of Pedorthics 2002 helped the association to position its value, provide critical information, tools, resources and contacts and bring members together in a shared vision.

Strauss planned and managed the entire event including:

Comprehensive planning, budgeting, staffing and financial management,
Negotiating facilities, sponsorship, partner and official supplier arrangements,
Arrangement of speakers, exhibitors, programs, entertainment, food and beverage requirements and social activities,
Marketing, publicity and promotion,
Event set up, layout and decoration.
